What can I expect from the group Theracoach Therapy Sessions?
Each group therapy session is a structured 60 minutes of total focus on yourself. You will learn how to disrupt your current negative thought processes, how to identify when things start to go wrong, what you need to do to self-regulate and build onto your Anxiety Management Plan. You will also learn something new about how your body and brain function in each session.

Each session will start with safety and grounding. You will learn how to calm your vagus nerve and amygdala during the session. This is a helpful skill to learn to use at home, work or when you are out and about.

Once this is complete, you will have an opportunity to choose one issue to work on with me. There will be no need to share any information or have your camera on during the Zoom session should you choose not to. You may find that you will receive wider support from the group and want to share and learn from others experiences.

During every therapy session, we will use modern psychodynamic techniques to help address the issue you choose to work on.

These sessions are NOT counselling based and are active learning sessions. It is vitally important that you are able to, with our help, create a management plan. We will teach you how to manage your anxiety and stress yourself.

Once you have attended the session you will have access to a Private Facebook Group and ‘Coffee and Chat’ Zoom sessions each month with me.
It is advisable that you attend regular sessions to learn the tools you need.
I will teach different techniques during the therapy sessions, and they will change each session.
What is the TheraCoach Integrated Trauma System?

TheraCoach is a system of delivery. It is a unique combination of coaching and therapy that encourages activation in different areas of the brain. This activation encourages the brain to retrieve, reformat, audit, and re-file information it was previously not able to make sense of.

Past negative memories, events or even conversations are often not stored in the right place in the brain. The hippocampus is responsible for our long and short-term memories. Its job is to date-stamp information for correct storage. When this process does not happen, especially for negative thoughts, feelings, and emotions, it appears as anxiety and stress putting pressure on the brain’s ability to function normally.

The TheraCoach system is designed to eliminate this process, remove the worries, re-file information and create new positive thoughts to replace the negative.

Get help as soon as possible. The longer you ‘go it alone’ the longer it takes to get better

The brain can repair itself and can overcome the hardest things life throws at us but if you do not work on your mental health each day, week and month, you will never step out of how you feel
